At the moment, there aren’t many options for luggage storage available in San Jose. Our team at Knock Knock City is currently hard at work to bring you affordable storage in convenient locations all throughout the city.
Until then, here’s what we suggest.
First, if you want to explore more than just San Jose itself, we recommend renting a car for the day. That way you have the freedom to come and go as you please, and you can store your luggage in the safety of your locked trunk.
Second, contact a few of the hotels in the area to see if they would be willing to store your luggage for you. Some hotels provide this service even if you’re not a guest, especially if you’re a member of their rewards program. If you find a hotel that is willing to provide this service, remember to tip the bellhop or front desk person who helped you out of courtesy.
There are many exciting things to do in San Jose, and you’re probably looking forward to spending your layover exploring all the city has to offer.
But what about your luggage?
At Knock Knock City, we’re travelers too, and have been in your position. We understand the frustration that comes with having to drag your bags around all day, which is why we came up with a solution.
We’ve partnered with local shop and store owners in San Jose to bring you affordable luggage storage at convenient locations throughout the city. We thoroughly train the owners and staff in safety and security procedures to ensure that your luggage is in capable hands. Additionally, each bag you store with us is insured for up to $2000!
But what about the cost?
We firmly believe that luggage storage should be affordable, which is why we only bill you for the time you actually use our services. Our low rate is $1 per hour and you pay no more than $10 per day. Simply book using our convenient web-app, drop off your bags, and enjoy San Jose free of your cumbersome luggage.
What’s more, we offer a no-fee cancellation policy! We understand that plans change when traveling, and want to make it easier for you (and your wallet) to adjust accordingly.
Located in Silicon Valley, San Jose is home to several prestigious technology companies, as well as lots of fun things for visitors to do. It enjoys beautiful, sunny weather for much of the year, which is great for exploring the beautiful rolling hills that surround it. From nightlife to nature, you’ll never be bored here!
First, San Jose isn’t a great city for walking since many of its main attractions are spread out. If you’re going to be here for longer than a few hours, we recommend renting a car so that you don’t have to worry about what’s within reach and what isn’t.
Second, be sure to keep a close eye on your valuables, and stay within well-lit, busy areas after dark. San Jose is generally pretty safe, but disaster can strike anywhere, so it’s always best to take precautions.
