Here’s why San Diego is one of the most enjoyable cities to visit in California:
First, San Diego is renowned for its pleasant weather. Second, the city has several beautiful parks that provide great ways to get out and enjoy the sunshine. One of the most popular (and biggest) parks in town is Balboa Park, which is big enough to be home to a full-sized golf course, a Japanese Friendship Garden, several dog parks, a few museums, and the world-renowned San Diego Zoo.
Best of all, there’s a great place nearby to store your luggage called Five Star Tours!
Five Star Tours offers daily luggage storage for travelers that want to explore the city unhindered. And if affordability is a concern for you, then don’t worry. Their rates start at only $7 for one bag.

Please note, this service is only for use by people who are actively exploring the museum at the time, and you will have to take your bags with you when you leave.

Sadly, San Diego doesn’t offer much else in the way of bag storage aside from the options we’ve already discussed. But that’s about to change, because Knock Knock City will soon be partnering with several locations throughout San Diego to bring you affordable luggage storage!
In the meantime, you do have one other option that you can explore:
Hotels will sometimes offer temporary luggage storage to travelers. Though there are no guarantees that they’ll take your bags, it’s worth a shot to call and ask. Your chances are higher if you’re a rewards member at that particular hotel group.
By now, you’re probably wondering what it is we do. The answer is simple: we provide a place for travelers to store their bags so they can explore San Diego unhindered.
We do this by partnering with local stores and shops near places you want to go see. That way, your bags are in a convenient location and can be easily picked up when you’re ready to move on to your next adventure.
But wait, there’s more!
Most luggage storage companies in the San Diego area charge you for a certain period of time – most commonly 24 hours – whether you use it all or not. Unfortunately, this means you’re probably overpaying for luggage storage.
But that’s not the way we do things at Knock Knock City.
As travelers ourselves, we know how important it is to be flexible. It’s $1/hour (Pay max. $10/bag per day). The rate is the same for all sizes of bags, backpacks, luggage to make it simple.
Even better, every bag you store with us is insured for up to $2000!
We understand that when traveling, your luggage is your lifeline. That’s why we thoroughly train the owners and employees of our partner locations in security procedures so your bags can receive the best protection possible.
And we don’t stop there.
Again, we’ve been in your shoes and want to make your bag storage experience as easy as possible. Because plans can change so quickly, we offer a no-fee cancellation policy – no questions asked!

Second, San Diego is world-renowned for its amazing fish tacos. Ask a local for their recommendation and then go give it a try! It will almost certainly change your life for the better.
As it turns out, San Diego is an excellent place to go if you’re a nature lover.
You may be wondering why that’s the case since it’s a thriving metropolis. If there’s one thing San Diego is known for, it’s incredible Mexican food.
Stop over for a quick, inexpensive bite at Mike’s Taco Club or Carnitas’ Snack Shack and prepare to be floored by their delicious food. Or, if you’re looking for something more high-end, try The Mission or Coasterra Restaurant (known for its open-air, bayside seating.)
