Luggage Storage at San Antonio Museums

From the Alamo to today, San Antonio is known for its history and culture. And nowhere is this more true than at its beautiful and informative museums.

If you have some spare time, we recommend paying a visit to the Witte Museum, where you can enjoy interesting and interactive science exhibits. Or, if you’re an art lover, head to the San Antonio Museum of Art, where you can enjoy beautiful pieces from many talented artists.

And what’s more, both of those museums offer visitors the option to check their bags while they’re exploring the property! Please note that bags are subject to search, and you will have to take them with you when you leave the museum.

Other Luggage Storage Options in San Antonio

Unfortunately, San Antonio is notorious for its lack of luggage storage, which is why our team at Knock Knock City is working hard to bring affordable, convenient bag storage to the area.

In the meantime, you do have several other options.

If you plan to see as much of San Antonio and the surrounding area as possible, it may be worth it to rent a car. That way, you can come and go as you please, and won’t have to worry about luggage storage since you can leave your bags safely locked in the trunk.

On the other hand, if renting a car isn’t an option, we suggest calling some of the local hotels to see if they are willing to store your baggage. Some offer this service even for people who are not staying with them. If that’s the case, be sure to tip the person who helped you (bellhop, front desk staff, etc.)

Knock Knock City is Bringing Information on Luggage Storage in San Antonio

We understand how difficult it can be to travel, especially when you have to worry about keeping your luggage safe and secure. After all, your whole life is contained in your bags when you’re traveling. You can’t leave them with just anyone, but you also don’t want to drag them around with you all day in San Antonio’s heat. So what do you do?

San Antonio: A Rich Heritage

San Antonio is most widely known as the home of The Alamo, the site of an infamous battle for Texan independence from Mexico. However, it’s also the home of other amazing attractions like its famed Riverwalk, SeaWorld, and more. There’s something to do for everyone here!

A Quick San Antonio Travel Guide

First, if you’re visiting during the summer, know that it gets hot here. Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing and sunblock, and don’t forget to drink lots of water. Be sure to take frequent breaks indoors to cool off as well.

As in any big city, be sure to stay in well-lit areas after dark. The Riverwalk is generally considered to be a very safe area, but it’s always best to use common sense and take precautions. Always keep your valuables close.

Things to Do in San Antonio

Of course, you don’t want to miss the famous Alamo! We highly recommend visiting earlier in the morning because there will be fewer people and it will be cooler. Along the same lines, a visit to the San Antonio Missions National Historic Park is also a great way to experience this historic city.

We also highly recommend visiting the Riverwalk area. This neighborhood consists of miles of beautiful walkways, tours, shops, great places to eat, and more!

We can’t overstate how much fun the Riverwalk is when it comes to shopping! It’s home to all sorts of local stores and boutiques that sell just about anything you’re looking for. Add a small fleet of restaurants to the deal and you have a recipe for one fun and exciting afternoon on the town.

Places to Eat

If you want a fine dining experience unlike any other, we recommend making a reservation at Chama Gaucha Brazilian Steakhouse. Their food is incredible, but they fill up quickly, so we suggest making a reservation well in advance of your visit.

In town to sample some of San Antonio’s excellent Mexican food? If so, we suggest Pollos Asados Los Nortenos, which serves delicious Mexican food on a budget. You can also try Rosario’s Mexican Cafe Y Cantina for a slightly more upscale option.
