Other Luggage Storage Options in Houston

At this time, there aren’t many places to store luggage in Houston. However, you do have several other options if you need to stash your bags while you explore the city.

First, if you’re checking out of a hotel and have a few hours to spend before your flight, we recommend asking the front desk if they will store your suitcases for the afternoon. In some cases, hotels may even let you store luggage with them even if you haven’t stayed there (especially if you’re a member of their rewards program.)

Second, if you’re planning on seeing quite a bit of Houston, the easiest option might be to rent a car and store your luggage securely in the trunk. That way you’re free to go where you please, and you won’t have to worry about finding a place to store your bags.

Houston: Where History, Theater, and Technology Meet

As one of the largest metropolitan areas in Texas, Houston is known for its cultural opportunities, fascinating history, and great attractions. It’s also the home of the famous Houston Space Center, which offers tours, educational films, and intense space simulator opportunities to its visitors.

A Brief Houston Travel Guide

First, Houston gets very hot in the summer, so stay hydrated and bring lots of sunblock! It can also be surprisingly brisk in the winter, so bring a jacket.

Also, it’s important to be aware of your surroundings when visiting Houston. As always, we recommend keeping your personal belongings and valuables close and staying within well-lit public areas after dark.

Things to Do in Houston

Many travelers in Houston find that they really enjoy visiting NASA’s Houston Space Center. The primary purpose of the property is to train their soon-to-be active astronauts, and their training facilities are generally not open to the public. However, the visitor’s center is where you can go to learn all about their program and experience the thrill of space travel via one of their cutting-edge simulators.

Theater lovers will also enjoy time spent in Houston’s famous Theater District. Catch a show, then eat at one of the many restaurants in this area to finish off your visit.

If you’re looking for an upscale area, head to the River Oaks District, which is sometimes compared to Los Angeles’s Rodeo Drive. It’s an expensive area, but it can be just as much fun to window shop here as it is to have a shopping spree.
