Knock Knock City is Providing You with Information on Several Locations in Honolulu

Honolulu: A Pacific Jewel

Known throughout the world as a destination hot spot, Honolulu is home to beautiful weather, inviting beaches, friendly locals, interesting wildlife, and a unique island culture that dates back thousands of years. Whether you’re a hiker, surfer, shopper, thrillseeker, or just want to take a relaxing walk between flights, Honolulu won’t disappoint.

A Note on Honolulu Travel

First, know that as idyllic as the ocean can seem, it can be very dangerous. If you plan to hit the beach, follow all posted directions and warnings and try to stay within sight of a lifeguard if there is one. If you ever feel uncomfortable about something, trust your gut and don’t do it!

Many of the locals are all very friendly, so don’t be afraid to ask for directions and recommendations. And finally, rush hour traffic can be a nightmare here, so give yourself plenty of travel time.

Things to Do in Honolulu

Honolulu is very unique, and there’s no shortage of amazing experiences to be had. Whether you’re a history lover or not, the WWII Valor in the Pacific National Monument is always worth a visit. Learn about the brave men and women who defended Pearl Harbor against attack, and honor the ones who lost their lives.

For an amazing view of Oahu, take a drive (or bus) up to Nuuanu Pali Lookout. Or, if you’re feeling really ambitious, hike to the top of Diamond Head

And of course, no trip to Hawaii would be complete without a visit to a beach. Waikiki is the most famous, but only a few miles further down is the beautiful Lanikai Beach, with finer sand and fewer people.

Try the Ala Moana Center if you’re looking for an upscale shopping mall – it boasts one of the largest selections of luxury retailers in the world.

Finally, explore the International Marketplace if you want a more in-depth look at the people of Waikiki and their various cultures. This area can be very spendy, but it’s certainly worth a walk through even if you don’t buy anything.
